Monochrome Monday (stolen!)

Pinched the concept of a 'monochrome monday' from Sgt Peppers I wondered what would be the result if I took a photo of which colour would normally be the essence, and rendered it in black & white! Some of my attempts were pointless .... who wants to see a mass of black roses in a grey pot? ..... but I like this one.
