Vintage

A picture of our wine supply -- always needing to be replenished! A selection of different vintages, colours, and styles.

The picture on the right is the label from a bottle of wine given as a funny gift to Mr. W from one of his racing friends. It shows a picture of Mr. W in his CITGO sponsored race car. It reads (in execrable French!) "Chateau Wiehl vin de CITGO extraordinaire June 2008 mis en boutille au caravane residentialle. Appellation incontrolee - comme le pilote." (The "caravane residentialle" refers to our motor home.)

The label on the back of the bottle states: "This unassuming little red will take you by surprise, and it will go faster than you think. The main flavor is of pump gas, with strong undertones of burning clutch and overheated rubber. The somewhat rough finish hints at fiberglass resin, paint, and brake fluid.

Best enjoyed with track food such as the McMosport special, or Lime Rock chili, this stuff will really cut that greasy aftertaste. In a pinch, can wash down a large crow sandwich if absolutely necessary.

Bottled in our rolling chateau, made from the finest ingredients we can find lying around, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

CAUTION:

The Surgeon General has determined that the hangover this stuff causes will raise your lap times by at least 25% IF you can roll out of the sack in time for practice! When drunk by couples, may cause pregnancy."
