Quck Draw
A day of much pre-planned activities, thanks entirely to the SK and her assiduous reading of Gayle’s Guide. First up, another free film at the Everyman. A sort of planet earth with David Attenborough but entirely populated with GCI created dinosaurs. They don’t do a lot apart from eat each other it would appear. C’mon the intelligent mammals!
Then an interval at the Portrait Gallery where they have space to draw. And kids lunchbox meals for £6.50. OK, I had to eat her soup.
And then, joined by the SK who had been doing good friend stuff with P (K’s first chemo day) a pom-pom making workshop at John Lewis. I fear it called for too much patience and skill for a four year old. I enjoyed it though. A care home taster session for me.
Later, out with the men’s mental health charitable foundation, aka the old soaks. What about that Tim Walz though? The SK and I had watched him give his first speech as Kamala Harris’s running mate. What a great guy! Easy and affable (or so he appears). Normal, even. Apparently Trump has said he (Walz) wants the country to go Communist, "immediately, if not sooner.” Go figure.
