Not a hare!

When taking the dogs for a walk this morning about 7.30 a.m. I turned a corner and spotted this owl on the fence post.
I had my camera handy but was pretty sure he would fly off before I got a photo.
But no!
He posed there, giving me a real “owlish” look before flying off.
