Ready, steady, knit

Too hot to go out far so I decided to hit the wool and catch up with some of the dross I have recorded on the TV.

Someone gave me 25 different coloured balls of cotton - its either a striped jumper or an Afghan - so I am going to work my way through Nicky Epstein's book Knitting Block by Block - anyone want the job of sewing the blocks together in a few months?
