Corvid Fiesta

By CorvidFiesta

Amorphophallus titanium

The common name is Titan Arum (and Corpse Flower) and it is a rare flowerer. However, when we got back from Wales, there was an email from the Botanics to say that their corm was in flower and you could book to see it. We went in the afternoon as it is only this splendid for 2 days and accessible to the public for that time. It isn’t actually too smelly after the initial flower comes out but there were faint whiffs from time to time.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is Leaves.
