A Shopping Trip
... with a difference!
Parked outside the coop when I stopped there for a few essentials this afternoon.
A day of many parts again. I picked up Bella this morning while on a shopping run that saw me buy a wheelbarrow amongst other things. Home for an early lunch before spending a couple of hours working on repotting bulbs.
Julie's off home tomorrow so it was nice to meet up for a cuppa and a chat followed by fish and chips which we ate in one of the shelters at the seafront. We weren't facing the sea, there was a howling gale coming in, allegedly bringing a heatwave on it's tail, for the south and east at least. Julie passed an assessment today and is now an Assistant Guard. A big achievement from a standing start early last year. Seems strange to think we won't meet up again until next summer .... it'll be a blip-friendship meantime though :-)
This evening I took a friend and neighbour to pottery to glaze a couple of pieces she made a month or more ago. I worked on some of mine at the same time .... and lingered on afterwards getting a couple finished. Now I must get to bed quickly. I have a very early start tomorrow.
