Dance like noone is watching....

We went to a surprise 40th birthday party tonight for an old friend. It was a 70/80's themed party but we hadn't realised that until Tuesday this week. So we hastily chose a family fancy dress option. We arrived at the party dressed as Pacman (Mr Pink) and the ghosts; Blinky, Pinky and Inky. I thought the costumes worked well and the mini pinks enjoyed chasing their daddy around pretending to get him!!
Miss Pink loved the dancing at the party, she had a wonderful time dancing to the disco. She followed our friend Laura around all evening, as Laura had lots of pretties on (tutus and necklaces and 80's mesh gloves), and spent lots of time outside dancing on her own. It was very cute! Master Pink had fun charging around being a ghost, but he spent most of his time outside too (as did I as I wanted to keep an eye on them both). There was Kareoke later in the evening, and my now drunk friends all had a go at singing. Master Pink really seemed to enjoy it, and watched it from outside with his end through the open window.
We left around 11.30, the mini pinks were beginning to flag, and I was the sober one so was feeling ready for my bed. It was a good night though.
