Birch Wood

A much cooler day today. A mixture of sunny spells and light rain showers. Partner and I go for a walk, and despite being 18degC, it does feel a little cooler. We try to stay in the open, sheltered from the wind, so if when the sun makes an appearance, we can still imagine it is the warm summer weather of previous weeks. Walking through the park we pass the Birch Wood, which I haven't blipped for a while. The trees are still looking verdant.

In the afternoon, had to wait for a phone call for possible jury duty. However, none received. A late afternoon walk around the park. Again in the lee of the wind and getting the benefit of limited sunshine. Its only the start of August, so hoping to get more warm weather before autumn arrives.
