ROBO Whale

It was a man date for Arthur and I today. We went to a dinosaur exhibition at Osaka Dome in the morning. In the afternoon we went to the Museum of Modern Transportation in Bentencho, followed by the latest exhibition at the Otani Memorial Art Museum in Nishinomiya. Today entry to the museum was free. It was an interesting exhibition, titled Cosmosphere, by an artist named Osamu Kokufu. It wasn't what I had expected. You can see some more of his work here. KOKUFUMOBIL, Highland Under The Rainbow and Garden On The Top were also on exhibition here. Not really my scene, to be honest, but I ROBOWhale had a certain emotional power; this metal fossil with its propellor, yearning to take flight once more, created a curious empathy akin to the robot gardener on Hayao Miyazaki's Laputa.
