Glen Etive

A back blip from our recent camper van meander around Lochaber area. We had a wonderful time touring around the glens and forests of Appin , then over to Glencoe where we spent some time camping and managed to do some walking ( gentle walks as John's hip wasn't so good).

Glen Etive was glorious in the summer sunshine and we definitely meandered along that single track, twisty road. The water in Loch Etive , just where the river flows into the loch, was warm enough for a very refreshing swim.

I did get the usual iconic blips of Buachaille Etive Mor, The Three Sisters, the Weeping Glen etc, etc, but it was this blip of John relaxing at one of the many waterfalls in Glen Etive. LARGE might be worth a look for the amazing rock formations. I did get a lot of close ups of these as well.

Would you just look at that man's hair? Almost 67 and hardly a grey hair , still as thick and curly as it was in his teens ! Here's me , finally given in and have let my hair go back to being white, no more money wasted on expensive colouring at the hairdresser. Might just put away tyhe money each month that I would have spent on colouring and save up for that L series lens I would love. I took a photo of a couple in Glencoe for them using his 5D Mark 2 and a L series 1.8 , 200 mm lens . The clarity was incredible.
