Rambling
Seventeen of us set off on a 6.5 mile route through the Shropshire countryside. We had warm sunshine, rain, cloud & wind but it didn’t blunt the enthusiasm. Due to forestry work a detour was made & the distance ended up nearer 8 miles. We walked up Callow Hill to the foot of Flounder’s Folly which was built in 1838 & fell into disrepair in the 1980’s. A trust was formed in 2000 & with Heritage Lottery Funds & privately raised money it was restored in 2005.
When I got home I worked on some background photos to use for future composites when my photoshop skills have improved.
