Countryside in the City

A nice day, but the wind is definitely much fresher. The difference can certainly be felt stepping outside after having spent the morning in the front room working. However, the sun is still very strong, so partner and I stuck to wooded paths. Allowing us to enjoy the warmth of the summer sun and avoiding the strong breeze.

After work, we decide to take advantage of the countryside areas close to our house and follow a new path. No direct views of the Pentland Hills, but the views, as shown in the blip photo, are quite dramatic. Countryside without leaving the city. Plus as this is not a circular walk, we can get a bus straight home.
