California Dreamin’

During my deadheading adventure I spotted this California or Common Ringlet Butterfly smothering Joe Pye Weed. Joe and the buddleia are all the rage right now :) • When I returned to the house I excitedly shared with MrsP that I found three monarch caterpillars! Of course she had to see them too so we wandered over to the butterfly garden together. It wasn’t long before she spotted two more!! Five Cats!! • Soon we’ll be watching the US Women’s Basketball Team play Nigeria. It’s hard to believe the Closing Ceremony is just four days away • We’re feeling really good about the Harris-Walz ticket. C’mon America, let’s DO this!! • Peace & Love
