Lost!

We headed to Whinlatter Forest this morning. After a coffee and cake (of course) we selected one of the more challenging routes taking us to a high vantage point overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake and Derwent Water. However, about a third of the way I decided to investigate an unmarked path thinking I'd get a worthwhile view. Having advised Mrs K to stick to the path I set out to re-join her further along the way but it wasn't to be, I was lost! To cut a very long story short, intermittent phone calls and text messages later we next saw each other an hour and a half later back in the car park! Not all was lost though since I'd captured some nice views along the way, phew. See extras too.

The subsequent fish and chips from Keswick went down very well indeed.
