The Woodland Garden (Tuesday 6th August 2024)

Already there are signs of an approaching Autumn. My favourite of the trees in my garden is this smoke bush (cotinus coggygria) 'Royal Purple', whose purple leaves are becoming diffused with gold at the moment, with the occasional bright red rebel. I thought it would suit MaryElizaR's Tiny Tuesday challenge on the theme of 'Leaves', with thanks to her for hosting and setting the theme.
