Borca di Cadore

Our first whole day here is a quiet one.
We all slept late and then had an extensive breakfast. Bought by Daan and me in the supermarket nearby.

Around lunchtime we decided to take al look at a lake nearby, Lago di Centro Cadore. 15 kilometers away, but still a 30 minutes drive.
A beautiful location with blue water, but unfortunately no swimming allowed. (extra)

After a delicious antipasti (lasagna) we went back to our home and started a walk to a waterfall nearby. But after 1 kilometer dark clouds formed over our heads and we heard thunder rolling in. All that was topped off with a refreshing downpour, but nevertheless we decided to turn and go home again.
The church on the photo is the "Parrocchia dei Santi Simone e Taddeo di Borca di Cadore".
