Bus Pass Walk

6 buses taken today! Think everyone had decided to go out today - the bus to Skipton was completely full.  Strangely there were hardly any children in spite of the holidays. The plan had been to maybe go on to Settle, but there had been a bad crash in the early hours which had closed the bypass, and everything was being diverted through Settle so delays were anticipated.  We therefore had a coffee and then a wander from the canal basin (photo above) along the towpath and back through Aireville Park. We had lunch at Bean Loved Cafe and then the first of our 3 buses home. We just missed one bus back to Bingley and the next one was on time but then delayed as some "considerate" teenagers (not) had been eating takeaways upstairs and made a mess so the driver had to go up with a mop and bucket! We thought we would miss our bus back up the village, but got to Bingley with a few minutes to spare - all good!
