Carraview , South Uist

This is home for the week.
The weather today was very stormy and we were inside most of the day just chatting and catching up. In the evening we went to the local beach. It had the cloud had cleared a bit - such beautiful skies !

The machair was covered in heartease, wild pansies - not the tricolour ones we usually see on these islands earlier in the year .
