we are still waiting for the previously mentioned flower to bloom - i'm betting on tomorrow, but we'll see.

so instead of the botanic garden, we rode over to theodore roosevelt island. i brought my camera but forgot its charging battery (dang), so i am blipping something other than teddy's memorial, or the cool swamp it sits on. instead, here is swamp thing.
