Tulips

A fellow resident plants tulip seeds every year and enjoys the benefits as do the rest of us some months later. One of the extras shows the inside of a tulip … well one tulip. I have never looked inside before. 

The first time I met this resident (name not remembered) he was planting the seeds. The second time I met him was today as I had been told about the tulips. I stayed awhile to chat as his wife died a month ago and I was happy for him to chat as we sat on his veranda enjoying the colourful garden view.
