Too Rapid!

Here in Seattle, we have a new bus service called Rapid Ride. Supposed to be a major improvement over previous bus service.

On our little peninsula in West Seattle, we have an annual summer event known as the "West Seattle Summer Fest." This is a street festival with all sorts of arts, crafts, food, and other booth's, including amusement rides for young and old.

The festival organizers could not have chosen a better location for THIS ride if they tried. Right in front of the "Rapid Ride Bus stop."

A little TOO rapid for this blipster, but was fun to watch the riders :)

This ride may look like a "kiddie" ride, but it sends you head over heals, and round and round, all at the same time! It is called the "Gravitron." :) Kind of like a giant gyroscope, or spinning top - except with human riders :)

Take a look in large and you will see where the "caution's" sign says - "could result in injury or DEATH!" :)
