Margaree Harbor!

What a splendid day we had! Terry and i took off after lunch to go over to Cheticamp, about 1 1/2 hours away, to deliver pots to a gallery over that way! It's actually more of an excuse to get away for the day! Before we went to the gallery we decided to stop at the beach at Margaree Harbor. We came upon a couple of friends and so we stayed for a longer time than planned. The water was cold but refreshing, once you got in past your belly....this is quite unusual for here....mid august is usually when i can tolerate the water! Then onto the gallery, which was closed....so we left the box in one of the outdoor rooms.....they're a pretty honest lot over that side of the island :)

We stopped at a lovely little place that over looks the ocean and had a glass or 2 of wine and a lovely meal! Driving home, back thro Margaree Harbor we came upon this sight as we rounded the corner. Headed on past and Terry said....should we turn around....yes i said! i'm so glad we did! it was pretty spectacular!

Long but very satisfying day, off to bed now!
