New visitor

A welcome addition to our bird feeder is this great spotted woodpecker. 
But have you seen any swallows or sand martins this year, or  heard any cuckoos? All these birds, sadly I fear, are missing certainly here in central Scotland.
 Yet another sign of our diminishing wildlife.
