Kayaking

We hired double kayaks this morning, it was good fun.  Eldest refused to go initially but decided to give it a go and really enjoyed it.  She asked if she could go on a single kayak next time.   I felt that the helmets were perhaps a bit of a h&s overkill, especially as the lake was only waisted deep. 

After lunch we had a look around the resort, girls went to a soft play and B did a hanging slide thingy.  She is a dare devil and loved it. Then we had a couple of hours in the pool.  The staff dragged a floating volley ball net into the pool and we played volley ball with beach balls which was fun.  Back in the cottage now and I think everyone will sleep well tonight.
