It's about 9 ft tall but the seed heads are drying... anyone fancy some seeds? Send me your addy and I'll pop some in an envelope as they dry out.

In other news, hubby and eldest still away in Bristol, and kids on an early; school trip to Alton Towers. Busied myself this morning, catching up on a wasted week's chores. Mom and Dad came about 12 and we pottered at the Garden Centre, and then on to lunch at a little bistro overlooking the sea.

Came back and me and Dad gardened for a while, then joined Mum de-stalking the mountain of red currants from yesterday's blip.

It was lovely to have some time with just me and them.

Kids back safe and sound and just waiting for my two intrepid explorers to arrive home, some time in the wee small hours.
