Forest Finns

We went to the  Forest Finns Centre, which is about Forest Finns
From the Info Centre, a path leads to a Forest Finns village. We took it upon ourselves to walk it and it was quite a difficult walk in difficult terrain with mosquitoes, horse flies and vipers. But in the end we arrived.

Extras: We were looking forward to having fika there. And then everything was closed! We were a little disappointed, but it did not last long. My husband thought I should photograph Northern Europe's largest spruce, 45 meters long and 150 years old when it was felled. So I did. He stands furthest away, but he is barely visible.

We went to the Open-air museum in Torsby, where we live at the moment. For those of you who are interested in football, I can mention that the Swedish football coach Sven-Görarn "Svennis" Eriksson is from here and lives here. However, we did not meet him.
In any case, the Open-air museum was a real hit. We started by having fika; coffee and waffle with cloudberry jam.
Then we looked at the old log houses, they are also remains of Forest Finns.
The old shop was so nice. And if you look closely to the left in the photo, someone is holding a rag rug. It is my rug, I bought it.
Finally, a funny photo, I was going to take a photo of the bouquet of flowers through the window, and I discovered that my husband is looking in through a window behind the gable.

A great day with great weather, how lucky we are.
