Dirk wears white sox

My Significant Other arrived yesterday needing to wash the white parts of his dancing outfit (he's in a Welsh folk dance troupe - Dawnswyr Delyn), ready for a gig today in Mold, so we slung them in the washing machine and hung them up to dry overnight. The shirt was bone dry this morning, but the socks were still damp, so as we were going out for brunch I suggested laying them out in the overheated car while we ate, so we took them for a ride in the sunshine, parked in the sun, and laid them over the seat while we went off for food. Job done: bone dry on our return to the car, and a blip to boot. White, grey, black and red: what more do you need? :-)

For those who are wondering about the title, Dirk wears white sox is the first album by Adam and the Ants. I've never heard it. Apart from the white socks reference, my SO likes Adam and the Ants, hence the choice :-)
