Hooked
Flat Eric, every sour slice of him, is gone though definitely not forgotten so a replacement was successfully knocked up in the course of the day. This is always stage one, the dough hook doing all the hard work.
I was back on the golf course early doors to give my potential driver another workout. It was windy this morning and it turns out I was hitting the ball way too high with that club so given the amount of wind we get around these parts that wasn’t so good and the driver has been returned to the pro with another variation due for my next game. At this rate I’ll never have to actually buy a driver at all!
Timed an allotment visit pretty well later on, finishing before the rain started to lash down, so that’s the very last of the berries picked for tomorrow’s breakfast. Not a fantastic harvest apart from the early strawberries to be honest but much better than the last couple of years. That’s a plus.
