Zigzags

Another in my "Insects on my wall" series - this time a beautifully-patterned moth which goes by the name of "Black Arches". It was resting there throughout the day, not totally blending in but obviously safe enough. It seems to be fairly common in the south of England and East Anglia, though wouldn't normally be seen unless one was moth-trapping with a light.
