A Quiet Day

After the ‘excitement’ of my stolen purse yesterday, we had a very quiet day today. It was lovely to sleep with the door open to the balcony and hear the sound of the waves. It helped with not knowing where you are when you wake up during the night.

We had coffee in our room (thanks to our wee travel kettle and Bb buying milk yesterday) and did our usual word puzzles.

Breakfast downstairs. Lovely as ever. Sea view and nice fresh air and breeze.

We always take a cup of coffee out to the area outside the breakfast section - comfortable chairs, same sea view. It’s our reading area :-) I started ‘Yellow Face’ and am enjoying it.

Before we knew it, it was lunchtime. We decided to be very lazy and have lunch in the hotel. Still a sea view

We’ve now had a walk along the front and rediscovering streets and places.
