Lovely Lotus

I went out to Longboat Key this morning to the Lonboat Island Chapel to hear a good friend, Donald Jackson, who was my minister at Unity Church of Sarasota for many years, speak about healing. He had just returned from a vist to Brazil, to see John of God, and was sharing some of his experience with the congregation, many who had know him for many years. I would say that John of God is a faith healer, though he believes he is but an instrument in the process. I have known others who have made the arduous trip and feel he is a holy man! It is a place where many people go, and many are healed. I wish this for my friend. May he be blessed in his life's journey!
Anyway, this lotus flower was in the lotus pond on the grounds near the entry way to the lovely chapel. It is a chapel welcoming to all with a message of love. I loved the lotus flower best of all the flowers that graced the grounds. It is so beautiful and the pond had many to enjoy!
