Communication

Midday we set off from home for the thirty five minute drive to Tewkesbury (Gloucestershire, UK) for a walk around the town in very warm weather but overcast.

We sat in the beer garden of Wetherspoons, with views towards The Malvern Hills, and enjoyed a cold drink. Before we got back to the car we visited the stunning Tewkesbury Abbey (1102AD). I've taken its photo' from outside here but the inside is also a feast for the eyes, and my photo' today shows the one cloister, arched ceiling and pulpit from which sermons are communicated to the congregagation....ideal for this week's Mono Monday theme of 'communication'.  Indeed, the place for prayer to God.

Great the weather is holding up and I read it's going to get hotter soon!
