No Surprise

The day started early for me, as I had to pick up my mother’s caregiver E at the main station. Driving there isn’t easy, since it’s only accessible via a small, chronically congested side street at the moment. 

Six weeks ago, a water main burst underneath the main road right in front of the station. The repairs were supposed to take three weeks. After three weeks, they doubled the estimate to six weeks. Now - you guessed it - they hope to be finished after nine weeks. 
We will see…

Anyway, E is back, K is happy to be on her way home to Poland again, and I am hoping for a quieter time without having to mediate between carers. :-)
