My grand-daughter had a recent holiday in Portugal and sent us this card which arrived today. Sending holiday cards used to be big business years ago but with modern technology there are quicker ways to communicate.

Our day has been fraught, started with cancelled dentist appointment just as we were going through the door, come this afternoon. Heating engineer expected to ring re boiler service, fortunately we were in when he suddenly appeared. This afternoon back to the dentist for Tedwin to collect denture which has had another tooth put on - oh dear, he is not happy, doesn’t fit and hurts badly. Scrambled eggs for tea!
