Unplanned job

We sat on the bench a week or so ago and nearly ended up on the floor. The support between the front and back leg was rotten at the ends and had given way.
A new side member and seat support was fashioned out of a piece of unnamed hard wood found in the workshop.
The rotten sockets were cleaned out, drowned in epoxy and it was all put back together with plenty of glass filled resin.
Feels pretty solid now, just got to strip all the old varnish and retreat it.
