Mostly Six Five Oh

Another amusing sign in Los Gatos.

Leads to thinking about other pant idioms...
Caught with one's pants down - surprised, caught in a guilty secret
To lose your pants - financial risk, lose one's money
A kick in the pants - reprimand, motivation
Pants on fire - liar, liar!
Ants in one's pants - fidget, anxious
Keep your pants on! - calm down!
To wear the pants in the relationship/family - controlling
Fly by the seat of one's pants - to use instinct to figure something out
Smarty-pants - know-it-all
Big-boy/girl pants - to behave like a grownup
Put one's pants on one leg at a time - being human like everyone else
Talk/bore the pants off someone - thoroughly, completely
Fancy-pants - pretentious

And of course there are many more that aren't fit for print here on blip.  :-)

Picked up our wall clock that we'd taken to be repaired a couple weeks ago.  The guy in the store said he'd had lots of customers interested in buying our clock!  Funny.  He'd hung it up on his wall waiting with the others that were either for pick-up or for sale.
