Eve Of Departure

A quite lovely Water Lilly from the pond area at Vounder Farm where I do my Wednesday gardening sessions. The pond, shown in the additional, is designated as the quiet area and whenever I can I look to spend five to ten minutes here each session.
Bit more strenuous this week, preparing the soil by weeding and fertilising then planting five rows of kale and lettuce. As is the norm now there was a good supply of fresh veg to take home.
Home to pack ready for my two days away with Sam for her birthday. I went down to the boatyard intending to row but we were at that magical number - 11 - too many for one gig, not enough for two so I headed home.
Read for a while before an early night ready for an early start.
