Sunday: Teasels

Chilly, grey, breezy with showers of rain for most of today.

I’ve started on a family history project where I’ve discovered that my best friend through secondary school lived in a farm on Anglesey which is also connected to descendants of my 6 times great grandparents from Caernarfonshire. Managed an hour or so before I had to stop, but I will go back to it.

Watched a bit of the Olympics this morning: men’s golf, hockey.

This afternoon I started watching this year’s eisteddfod from Pontypridd - the bardic chair is totally unique, true to its roots and to the history of industry in and around Pontypridd.

Watched a few episodes of “Spooks” this evening …
