Happy Return

Over twenty years ago l remember Tim and Adele brought Mr P and myself here to eat. I remember really liking it but for logistical reasons we never returned.
Didn’t know when l came to stay this weekend that we would be coming here to eat. Food was as good as l remembered.
We came because my grandson’s long term girlfriend passed out as a police constable on Thursday and starts her first duty tomorrow so we had a little celebration.
So proud of her but what a daunting time to start her career in theses troubled times.
Had taken a photograph of her but she has been told to keep off social media and though l don’t think Blipfoto presents any threat l won’t be posting her image on here.
On a lighter note l tried on her stab vest, flack jacket and belt, so heavy,  honestly l don’t know how they walk about in them for hours on end.
