Eyes of Fire

The Saturday fireworks at Navy Pier had completely slipped my mind, until I started hearing bangs at 10pm. I grabbed my camera and started shooting.  It was only afterwards that I saw I'd caught a few of the scenes at the point where they looked almost like a face - something you (or at least, I :D) really don't notice when you're watching them exploding in real time.
