Supporting Darwin
Headed out this morning in the van to the first day of Sniff to Safety training for Darwin. AY, the man trailing instructor had organised a trainer to come up from Devon who uses sniffing to help get over reactivity. When we arrived the farmer hadn’t managed to get the hay in the field removed so we couldn’t go in through the gate, instead we headed to the field through the woods at the back and over another field, which was a bit of a trek. Training in the morning went well as J was doing it with Darwin while Kilda and I watched on, and Kilda helped as a stooge dog. After lunch we went back to the farmyard to a smaller patch of grass near the stables which was much better. It was a hot day and we finished early as all the dogs were knackered. Chippie for dinner and then watched some of the Olympics and qualifying for the GP.
