"Steeped in history, Stokes High Bridge Cafe has been standing tall since 1540. The High Bridge itself was built over the River Witham in around 1160, and is now the only Medieval bridge in England with houses still on it." (Visit Lincoln)

Old buildings never have straight lines.

Our eldest is here visiting so we went to Lincoln for a couple of hours and then had an ice cream at the parlour by our house.

I made paella for dinner. A family favourite.
