Tiger in his toy box...

When I sweep the floor I put all of Tigers toys in this box. Now that the toys are scattered around again.....

When I first saw my mom, my thoughts went back to the last two months of my dad. She looked so frail. Her voice was back to normal today and she was mostly in the present. I tried everything I could to not mention her brother and husband was no longer living but she just knew they were coming over tonight and... Around noon she surprised me by asking for a hamburger. Of course I said from where and.. I also didn't care if she didn't take one bite - she asked for something that I could do for her. Off I went. She had two bites of the burger and 9 french fries. A big win seeing her smile. After that she mostly slept. I stayed until she woke up so not to frighten her that I left. She told me she was looking forward to her daughter seeing her tomorrow. I'm very grateful things are mostly getting back to normal..

Back to work in the morning...
