Upstairs and Downstairs

I enjoyed a long lie this morning. We all had breakfast before son no 1 and his girlfriend went off for a run/walk to the egg farm and son no 3 went off for his shift at the Oven Door. Once we’d had a quote for blackout blinds (we’re waking up too early because of the light) Mr P and I headed to the Hydro for gym and a swim. We then shopped and prepared everything for our bbq late afternoon. It was great fun but I realised that it’s really hard work to have a bbq in an upside down house! I was exhausted in the evening and wishing I hadn’t bothered to go to the Hydro in the morning. We watched the Olympics and then played our own sedentary games in the evening.
