Bittersweet

G picked these up in the supermarket after claiming Baby A had pointed them out. Sunflowers remind me of a very good friend of mine who died nearly 2 years ago now. She was one of the most inspiring people i’ve ever known and I miss her every day. I’ve not had a bunch in the house since she passed away actually and so far these have truly brought some (much needed) joy.
Incidentally, I’ve just realised that the vase I’ve put them in was given to me by another inspirational lady, FranG!
