Friday…

No nursery for Théa today. We were going to take both girls to Cherry Hinton Park, the venue that was closed on Tuesday.

The girls had each other for entertainment and it was suggested independent play might be the order of the morning. I even had time to read my book whilst ‘keeping watch.’ Théa was the perfect pupil as Esmée taught her how to sort the Happy Families cards. D did more gardening.

Change of plan later. The local swings area was much nearer and really both girls were too tired to go much further. Wonderfully, another Grandma was there with her two visiting granddaughters and the four girls hit it off immediately.

When all was quiet on the western front, J & A went out for an evening together. We’ve done our own thing here. Nice to be able to give the parents the opportunity. Life is full on for them.
