Arundel day!

Today we explored Arundel. We started with the castle. I loved the castle gardens especially the Collector Earl's Garden.

All the featured structures are constructed from wood, and there was a crazy waterfall too! I just thought this was very inventive garden design. This shot is taken in this part of the garden.

We had a picnic in the castle grounds, and the afternoon was spent at the Arundel Wetlands Centre. It was a very quiet and peaceful afternoon. We also had a close encounter with a moorhen youngster who kept following us for seeds!
