Milestone

And just like that, I have reached my 4,500th blip! But in reality, it's been over twelve years in the making. It hasn't been so long since the last milestone in April. I was home alone then as well. Hmmm.

It's been a bumpy ride since I first started with no end in sight on that front, but on the whole, I will always say, "Life is GOOD". It's even better with Blipfoto and this truly amazing community of faithful blipmates. Thank you for looking in and leaving comments, stars and even hearts.

I was chatting with G today. She said about stopping blipping. With less time to interact with the community and blip every day, she might have a point, but I love this space too much to give up just yet. I love looking out for a picture to record the day.

And if you are wondering about the background in the picture, a few weeks ago, when we were in IKEA, G saw this colourful doormat which she just had to have bring home with her. By the state of it, you can tell it hasn't been commissioned yet. I thought it made a good backdrop, mainly because it has red. ;))

Apart from thinking about something special to do for my blip today, I packed my amplifier (yet again) and took it down to the workshop. This time, they persevered and got to the bottom of what was causing the sound distortion. It is a tiny "latching push button switch" which they replaced with their own-brand part for testing purposes. The one I need is larger, being an old part, so they will try to track one down. I am impressed that this is the only thing that has failed in this 30-year-old amp!

I had a shawarma at IKEA and did a grocery shop in Festival City while I was out with a trolley in tow.
