Strange Day.
I had decided that after work had finished and the storm had passed over that I would try taking some pictures into the brightest part of the sky with the on-board camera flash to fill-in. The theory was ok but in practice not so good. Just before I started, I was standing outside with a bunch of keys in one hand and half a cup of vending-machine coffee in the other and the need to have one hand free to get the camera set up. So what did I do? I only put the bloody coffee into my inside jacket pocket instead of the keys. What a plonker!
It got worse because the flash just blew out the highlights. Eventually I set it on Program mode instead of Av and that did the trick. Finally I was ready to get some pictures. I took one, then the battery ran out.
I look at my one picture back in the office after changing the battery and I find there's a bloody plane in it
No I'm not going back out to re-shoot, I can't afford to ruin any more suits.
